the internet is dead podcast was created in march 2024 by brittany deitch and sameera rachakonda as an attempt to escape philadelphia. the mission was successful.
that's actually not true—they made the show because it seemed like something they had to do—talking about internet culture from the perspective of former twitter/tumblr stan girls while also maintaining a journalistic integrity. and they are hoping to be the most internet podcast out there.
